After Care
-
Your brow area may appear red and irritated, this typically subsides within 1-2 days.
Be patient with the healing and removal process. Most clients can take anywhere from 2-8 sessions to achieve the desired results dependent on the amount of pigment in the skin, how deep the pigment has been implanted, condition of your skin, etc.
I will send you home with healing products - saline solution and vitamin E oil. If you run out at any time, they can be purchased at any pharmacy or grocery store (saline wound wash and vitamin E oil).
-
Blot your brows hourly with a clean, dry cotton pad to remove lymph fluid build up to prevent scabbing.
Start cleaning process that evening with a cotton pad soaked in saline solution.
-
(or until scabs naturally have fallen off)
Clean the treated area 2-3x per day, by blotting for 10-15 seconds with a cotton round and saline wound wash.
Do not soak the treated area with water. You can shower as normal, but keep your face away from the stream of water. It can loosen the scabs and cause them prematurely fall off.
Keep the area clean and uncovered. Do not apply bandages of any kind, it will slow down the healing process.
Avoid hot baths/showers, saunas, public pools/hot tubs, facials, massages, and intense exercise.
Do not pick, peel, pull, rub, or scratch the treated area. It can lead to scarring.
-
Apply a drop or two of vitamin E oil to each brow nightly - I am sending you home with this, but if you need more, it can be purchased at any pharmacy or grocery store.
Follow up sessions are scheduled out 10-12 weeks.
